Muskan Bamne on leaving Anupamaa and joining Bigg Boss 18

As the camera rolls for Bigg Boss 18, viewers are excited to get a glimpse of the 18 contestants. Muskan Bamne recently departed from Anupamaa and in an interview with Indian Express explained her reason for joining the show was her long-standing admiration for Salman Khan. It significantly influenced her decision to join the reality show.

Discussing her decision to join reality TV after Anupamaa, Muskan stated, “Reality shows allow people to see the genuine version of you. While I’ve taken on TV roles where audiences recognize me as a character, this is an opportunity for viewers to get to know the real me. I’m completely different from my character, Pakhi, in Anupamaa. While people have seen me in confrontations on screen, there’s so much more to me that audiences will discover in Bigg Boss.”

Reflecting on her journey with Anupamaa, Muskan recognized the transformative impact it has had on her career. “Anupamaa brought me considerable recognition; it was a turning point in my life. Even now, fans refer to me as Pakhi, and it’s heartwarming to witness that. The journey has been incredible,” she shared.

She also commented on the recent departures of Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma. She mentioned, “We all miss Sudhanshu and Madalsa on set, not just the audience. The show feels different without Vanraj Shah; many viewers connected with Sudhanshu sir. I’ve heard there might be a leap in the storyline, which could bring in new faces.”

Muskan Bamne on allegations against Rupali Ganguly

The actress was asked about the allegations between Rupali Ganguly and her fellow cast members, especially Sudhanshu Panday. To this Muskan was quick to refute them. “That’s not the case. I was the youngest on set, and she was always very supportive. Whenever I faced difficulties, she patiently guided me. She is a wonderful person,” Muskan clarified.

As she embarks on her Bigg Boss 18 journey, Muskan aims to remain authentic and let viewers see her true self. She expressed her confidence in being positively received, stating, “I’m not concerned about how people will perceive me. Often contestants worry about being trolled or misjudged, but I genuinely believe that won’t happen to me.”

Bigg Boss 18 airs on Colors TV from Monday to Sunday. It also has a 24/7 live stream available on the Jio Cinema App.
